My Car

I'm planning of having my very first real car sometime in the next year or so. It would be a yellow 1966 Beetle with beach trimmings on the side. On the hood will a painting of a splendid beach sunset. I would pop a Liberation CD on the player everytime I will take her out for a spin. I would take her all over the archipelago, riding and listening to Bob Marley or the Beachboys like there is no tomorrow.

For now, I'll start saving first so I can have enough money to make this car a reality. I'll start by cutting off on unimportant spendings like the nightcaps with my homeboys. Maybe I'll also cut down on cigarette spendings and the weekend nights out at Molo's. I'm giving myself twenty months to save, then I can have my car.

Maybe, just maybe, when I'd have a girlfriend, I'd take her for a ride on my Beetle, go to a nearby beach and watch the sunset together with Kokomo or My Little Grass Shack in Kealakelua, Hawaii playing on the CD. Perfect.
